John Medlicott

Key speaker for Biology


Biography

John Medlicott has taught science for over 14 years. He is currently Head of Curriculum and staff development at a successful London College and a teacher of GCSE and A-level Biology, whilst also writing and editing interactive educational software.

He has led Science departments in the UK and internationally and has considerable experience of the British National Curriculum as well as the IGCSE and IB Curricula. A graduate member of the Institute of Biology, he was also the vice chairman of their London teacher’s group and has led many insets on Biology teaching at his time at the IOB. For a number of years he worked as a coopted School Governor in the Borough of Harrow, where he was also Chair of Governors Curriculum Committee.
