Colin Ellis

Key speaker for Economics


Biography

Colin Ellis is an economist at Daiwa Securities, covering the UK and euro area economies. Prior to that he worked on monetary policy as a senior economist at the Bank of England, covering forecast issues, writing the Inflation Report and editing the Quarterly Bulletin, and coordinating the regional network of Agencies. Research interests include: price setting, flexibility and adjustment; the dynamics of investment, capital and supply; and short-term forecasting methods with real-time data.
